I worked on the UK’s largest selling regional morning daily newspaper, The Eastern Daily Press, for much of my journalistic career before hopping over the fence into the world of corporate communications. I have since held senior communication roles in the public sector from local government and the NHS through to The Office of The Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk where I was Director of Communications.
From strategy development and crisis communication to media relations and PR, my breadth of experience enables me to tailor my work and training to clients' needs.
I have more than 30 years’ experience in communications and PR, brand management and sponsorship. I have worked in-house in the newspaper and financial services sectors and as a director of a multi award-winning PR agency. I have had the pleasure of working with clients in the public, private and third sectors including Greene King, the Department of Business Innovation and Skills, East of England Cooperative, Camelot (National Lottery) and several Local Authorities.
My strength lies in having sound business skills, an energy for ideas and loving a good plan.
